The present invention relates to an image providing apparatus for a curved road and, more specifically, to an image providing apparatus for a curved road for improving visibility. The image providing apparatus for a curved road including a first and a second section (1, 2) connected to each other by a curved section disposed therebetween, a first road (10) directed towards the curved section in the first section (1), and a second road (20) directed towards the curved section in the second section (2) comprises: a first main body (100) which is installed on the first road (10) and has a first photographing unit (110) to photograph the first section (1); a second main body (200) which is installed on the second road (20) and has a second photographing unit (210) to photograph the second section (2); and a control unit (300) connected to the first and the second main body (100, 200). The first main body (100) includes a first image providing unit (120) to play an image photographed by the second photographing unit (210) by the control unit (300). The second main body (200) includes a second image providing unit to play an image photographed by the first photographing unit (110) by the control unit (300). In providing a driver entering a curved road in one section with image information of the other section curved to be invisible, outlines of a road, a crosswalk, a lane, a vehicle, a pedestrian, and a terrain feature are displayed in the image information of the other section to identify a road environment of the other section in advance to prevent an accident.
본 발명은 곡선도로용 영상제공장치에 관한 것으로, 이를 더욱 상세히 설명하면 곡선구간을 사이에 두고 상호 간에 연결되는 제 1구간(1) 및 제 2구간(2), 상기 제 1구간(1) 중 상기 곡선구간을 향하는 제 1도로(10) 및 상기 제 2구간(2) 중 상기 곡선구간을 향하는 제 2도로(20)를 포함하는 곡선도로용 영상제공장치에 있어서, 상기 제 1도로(10)에 설치되며 제 1구간(1)을 촬영하는 제 1촬영부(110)가 구비되는 제 1본체(100); 상기 제 2도로(20)에 설치되며 제 2구간(2)을 촬영하는 제 2촬영부(210)가 구비되는 제 2본체(200); 및 상기 제 1본체(100) 및 제 2본체(200)와 연결되는 제어부(300);를 포함하되, 상기 제 1본체(100)는 상기 제어부(300)를 통해 상기 제 2촬영부(210)로 촬영한 영상이 재생되는 제 1영상제공부(120)를 포함하고, 상기 제 2본체(200)는 상기 제어부(300)를 통해 상기 제 1촬영부(110)로 촬영한 영상이 재생되는 2영상제공부를 포함하여 일측 구간에서 곡선도로를 진입하는 운전자에게 굴곡 되어 시야가 가려진 타측 구간의 영상정보를 제공함에 있어 타측 구간의 영상정보에 도로, 횡단보도, 차선, 차량, 보행자 및 지형지물의 윤곽선이 표시되도록 하여 타측 구간의 도로환경을 미리 식별할 수 있도록 하여 사고를 예방하는 효과가 있는 시인성이 향상되는 곡선도로용 영상제공장치에 관한 것이다.
