The present invention provides an external panel having an inserting and fitting structure allowing the connection of main panels in a very rapid and convenient manner, allowing a joint part of a main panel to protrude with a semi-circular shape to secure a good external appearance and also to resolve a problem that another object is locked even when the other object is in contact with the joint part, having a blocking means to prevent rainwater from being introduced inside through the joint part of a main panel, thereby improving the waterproof function. According to the present invention, the external panel comprises a main panel having a first joint part and a second joint part formed on both edge parts of a plate-shaped panel part. The first joint part comprises: a horizontal fixed part to be fixed to a fixing frame; a vertical blocking part formed by extending from the horizontal fixed part in a perpendicular direction; and a locking part protruding from the horizontal fixed part. The second joint part comprises: a semi-circular cover part having an inner space covering the first joint part; and an insertion part formed on a lower end of one side of the cover part to be inserted into and fitted to the locking part of the first joint part. The external panel further comprises a finishing panel formed by an auxiliary panel, a finishing cover part, and a finishing insertion part. The auxiliary panel comprises an auxiliary horizontal fixed part, an auxiliary vertical blocking part, and an auxiliary locking part, which have structures equal to structures of the horizontal fixed part, the vertical blocking part and the locking part of the first joint part of the main panel. The fixing cover part and the finishing insertion part have structures equal to structures of the cover part and the insertion part of the second joint of the main panel.

본 발명은 메인패널을 상호 연결하는 작업이 끼워맞춤 구조로 되어 시공을 매우 신속하고 편리하게 할 수 있으며, 메인패널의 이음부를 반원형으로 돌출시켜 외관을 보기 좋게 함과 동시에, 다른 물체가 접촉하여도 걸리는 문제를 해소할 수 있으며, 메인패널의 이음부를 통해 빗물이 내부로 유입되지 않도록 차단수단을 마련하여 빗물 유입방지 기능을 향상시킬 수 있는 건축물의 외장패널을 제공한다. 본 발명의 외장패널은, 판형상의 패널부 양쪽 가장자리부에 제1 이음부와 제2 이음부가 구비된 메인패널로 이루어지고, 상기 제1 이음부는 상기 고정프레임에 고정하기 위한 수평고정부와, 상기 수평고정부로부터 직각방향으로 연장형성된 수직차단부와, 상기 수평고정부에 돌출형성한 걸이부를 구비하고, 상기 제2 이음부는 상기 제1 이음부를 덮을 수 있는 내부 공간을 가지는 반원형의 덮개부와, 상기 덮개부 일측 하단에 형성되어 상기 제1 이음부의 걸이부에 끼워맞춤 가능한 끼움부를 구비한다. 또한 메인패널의 제1 이음부의 수평고정부, 수직차단부 및 걸이부와 동일한 구성의 보조수평고정부, 보조수직차단부 및 보조걸이부로 이루어지는 보조패널과, 메인패널의 제2 이음부의 덮개부 및 끼움부와 동일한 구성의 마무리덮개부와 마무리끼움부로 이루어지는 마무리패널을 더 구비한다.
