Elevator with lifeboat function
An elevator with a lifeboat function is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the elevator for rising and falling along an elevator cradle by a lifting rope from a jacket bottom to a top side of a fixed offshore structure includes: a pyramid-shaped main body; a door installed on one of the lateral surfaces of the main body and including a watertight means attached to a rim; and a floating space formed on the lower side of the main body to provide buoyancy on the sea surface and to function as a buffer unit in a falling process. In an emergency situation, the elevator is separated from the elevator cradle and the lifting rope and freely falls on the sea surface to function as a lifeboat. Accordingly, a worker can easily escape.
구명정 기능을 갖춘 엘리베이터가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 고정식 해양 구조물의 재킷 하부에서 탑사이드까지 리프팅 로프에 의해 엘리베이터 거치대를 따라 승강하는 엘리베이터는, 피라미드 형상의 본체와; 상기 본체의 측면 중 하나에 설치되고, 테두리에 수밀수단이 부착된 도어와; 상기 본체의 하부에 형성되어 해수면에서는 부력을 제공하고 낙하시에는 완충부로서 기능하는 부유공간을 포함하되, 비상 시에 상기 엘리베이터 거치대와 상기 리프팅 로프로부터 분리되어 해수면 상에 자유 낙하하여 구명정으로서 기능할 수 있다.
