DOUBLE LATCH LOCKSET
A redundant latch locking set or a kit form of the redundant latch locking set generally includes a first retractable latch and a second retractable latch connected by a driving assembly. The first retractable latch can be activated by a first internal actuator and/or a first external actuator, a second retractable latch can be activated by a second internal actuator and/or a second external actuator, and the second internal actuator and/or the second external actuator can actuate the second retractable latch such as a deadbolt. The movement of the first internal actuator and/or first external actuator in a first direction can retract both the first retractable latch and the second retractable latch simultaneously and the movement of the first internal actuator and/or first external actuator in a second direction can lock the second retractable latch. The first internal actuator and the first external actuator can move in a second direction without retracting the first retractable latch.
