The present invention relates to a soil retaining method to prevent flowing down of soil and collapse of the ground when construction, such as underground excavation, temporary water prevention, road extension, and the like, is performed. In particular, according to the present invention, a gap maintenance means for a slit is formed in an opening part of the slot casing used when a soil retaining method using a large cross section H-pile, wherein the gap maintenance means is removed or opened in a penetration process of the large cross section H-pile without a separate opening/closing or removing work. Accordingly, the gap maintenance means is applied to the slot casing used for a large cross section H-pile soil retaining method using a dual casing, thereby preventing the slot opening part of the slot casing from being compressed or preventing the gap from becoming narrow when the slot casing is stored, carried, or penetrated. Moreover, the slot part of the slot casing is completely opened while the gap maintenance means is automatically removed or rotated when the large cross section H-pile is penetrated in a state that the slot casing is inserted, thereby a separate or additional opening work for the slot casing is not required. Moreover, the gap maintenance means are able to be repeatedly used as necessary, thereby reducing a construction period and construction costs as well as largely improving work efficiency in a soil retaining work using the large cross section H-pile.
본 발명은 토목공사에서 지하터파기 또는 가물막이, 도로확장 등의 공사를 실시할 때, 토사가 흘러내리거나 지반이 무너지는 것을 방지하기 위한 흙막이 공법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 대단면 엄지말뚝을 이용한 흙막이 공법을 수행하는 과정에서 사용되는 슬롯 케이싱의 개방부에 상기 슬롯에 대한 간격유지수단을 구비하는 동시에 상기 간격유지수단은 별도의 개폐작업 혹은 제거작업 없이 대단면 엄지말뚝의 근입 과정에서 제거 혹은 개방될 수 있도록 구성함에 따라, 이중 케이싱을 이용한 대단면 엄지말뚝 흙막이 공법에서 사용되는 슬롯 케이싱에 대하여 간격유지수단을 적용함에 따라 상기 슬롯 케이싱에 대한 보관이나 운반 혹은 근입 과정에서 상기 슬롯 케이싱의 슬롯 개방부가 압축되거나 간격이 좁혀지는 것을 방지할 수 있는 것이고, 상기 슬롯 케이싱이 삽입된 상태에서 대단면 엄지말뚝을 근입하는 과정에서 상기 간격유지수단이 자동으로 제거 혹은 회전되면서 슬롯 케이싱의 슬롯 부분이 완전히 개방되므로, 슬롯 케이싱에 대한 별도의 개방작업이나 추가의 개방공정을 수행하지 않아도 되는 것이며, 필요에 따라 상기 간격유지수단을 반복적으로 사용할 수도 있어 매우 경제적인 것으로, 대단면 엄지말뚝을 이용한 흙막이 공사에 있어 작업 효율성이 크게 향상되는 것은 물론 시공 기간의 단축 및 공사비의 절감이 가능한 것이다.
