The present invention relates to a block for preventing growth of weeds. The block for preventing growth of weeds is constructed to cover a bottom below a guardrail installed in a boundary portion of a road on which only traffic roads mainly exist such that the guardrail or various kinds of traffic safety facilities attached to the guardrail are prevented from being blocked by weeds growing in a surrounding area of the guardrail. The block comprises a strut attachment block for preventing growth of weeds laid down on a bottom contacting to a strut, and a general block for preventing growth of weeds laid on other bottoms. An indented portion and a protrusion portion are sequentially arranged in the horizontal direction on each of four side surfaces of the strut attachment block for preventing growth of weeds and the general block for preventing growth of weeds. Therefore, a gap penetrating between blocks that are linked to each other at side surfaces thereof in the vertical direction is not generated in the block for preventing growth of weeds.
본 발명은, 방초 블록에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방초 블록은, 주로 차도만이 있는 도로의 경계부에 설치된 가드레일 아래의 바닥을 덮도록 시공됨으로써 가드레일 주변에서 잡초 등이 성장하여 가드레일이나 가드레일에 부착된 각종 교통안전시설물이 가려지는 것을 방지해 주는 역할을 하는 블록으로서, 지주에 접하는 바닥에 깔리는 지주 접합 방초블록과, 그 외의 바닥에 깔리는 일반 방초 블록으로 구성되는데, 지주 접합 방초 블록과 일반 방초블록의 4개의 각측면에 요부와 돌부를 상·하 방향으로 순차 배치함으로써 측면이 서로 형합 된 블록 사이에 상·하방향으로 관통하는 틈새가 전혀 발생하지 않도록 한 구조에 본 발명의 특징이 있다.
