A plurality of storage units comprise a single or a plurality of storage units in which a support position overlaps an occupied area in the first direction. A conveying apparatus has an outgoing-and-retracting mechanism which moves a holding member for holding an object of worship in the first direction, and is configured to move the holding member toward a partition wall side in the first direction by the retracting mechanism when the object of worship is moved to an object storage unit or the support position. An amount of projection of the holding member toward the partition wall side in a case where the object of worship is moved to the support position is set to be larger than the amount of projection of the holding member toward the partition wall side in a case of moving the object of worship to be inspected to the object storage unit.
