The present invention relates to a railway connecting member. This member is installed at a boundary point between two railways with different gauges. With this member, support can be provided to allow trains to pass between railways with different gauges, even without a special measure. The present invention includes a railway connecting member (10) and a corresponding train wheel (20). The railway connecting member (10) includes a narrow-gauge connecting part (110) including two narrow-gauge connecting rails (11) connected to the rail of a narrow-gauge railway and a broad-gauge connecting part (120) including two broad-gauge connecting rails (12) connected to the rail of a broad-gauge railway. The connecting member (10) is provided with a train wheel transfer unit (transfer; 130). By overlapping the front end of the narrow-gauge connecting rail (11) and the rear end of the broad-gauge connecting rail (12) with each other, the train wheel transfer unit (transfer; 130) transfers the wheel from the narrow-gauge railway to the broad-gauge railway or from the broad-gauge railway to the narrow-gauge railway. 본 발명은 궤간을 달리하는 양측 궤도의 경계지점에 설치하여 별다른 조치 없이 기차가 궤간을 달리하는 궤도 간을 통과할 수 있게끔 지원하는 궤도 연결부재와 그와 같은 연결부재에 접촉하여 원활하게 구동할 수 있도록 한 기차용 차륜에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 협궤 궤도(narrow-gauge railway)의 레일과 접속하는 두 개의 협궤 접속레일(11)로 이루어지는 협궤 접속부(110), 광궤 궤도(broad-gauge railway)의 레일과 접속하는 두 개의 광궤 접속레일(12)로 이루어지는 광궤 접속부(120)로 구성하며, 상기 협궤 접속레일(11)의 전단부와 광궤 접속레일(12)의 후단부를 상호 중첩되게 함으로써 연결부재(10)에 차륜을 협궤 궤도에서 광궤 궤도로 또는 광궤 궤도에서 협궤 궤도로 전환하여 주는 차륜 전환부(transfer; 130)가 마련되게 구성한 궤도용 연결부재(10)와 그에 대응하는 기차용 차륜(20)으로 구성한 것이다. 본 발명은 궤도를 변환하는 기차의 운행 안정성을 확보할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 이중 궤간 궤도의 설치에 따른 비용을 절감할 수 있으며, 또한 기차의 운행에 따른 고정비용이나 유지보수에 따른 비용의 소요를 최소화할 수 있는 등의 효과가 있다.
