A refrigerator of the present invention comprises: a cabinet forming a storage room; a door for opening and closing the storage room; a rack being movable to an opening position of the door from an initial position for opening the refrigerator door; a motor for generating a driving force for rotating the rack; a power transferring portion transferring power of the motor to the rack, and including a transfer gear which receives the driving force of the motor and rotates; a resistance installed in the transfer gear; a rotation detecting portion for detecting resistance values of two spots of the resistance; and a controller for controlling the motor based on the resistance values detected by the rotation detecting portion.
본 발명의 냉장고는, 저장실이 형성되는 캐비닛; 상기 저장실을 개폐하기 위한 도어; 상기 냉장고 도어를 개방시키기 위하여 초기 위치에서 도어 개방 위치로 이동할 수 있는 랙; 상기 랙을 회전시키기 위한 구동력을 발생하는 모터; 상기 모터의 동력을 상기 랙으로 전달하며, 상기 모터의 구동력을 전달받아 회전하는 전달 기어를 포함하는 동력 전달부; 상기 전달 기어에 설치되는 저항; 상기 저항의 두 지점의 저항값을 감지하는 회전 감지부; 및 상기 회전 감지부에서 감지된 저항값에 기초하여 상기 모터를 제어하는 컨트롤러를 포함한다.
