A manufacturing method for a hood striker of a vehicle comprises: a step of preparing a striker through a consecutive progressive press process including blanking, multi-staged bending, re-striking, and piercing; a step of preparing a hood latch coupled to the striker through the multi-staged bending process; and a step of performing a hot upset welding process with respect to the striker and the hood latch. The hot upset welding process controls variable including current, welding time, and pressurizing force, such that a heat affected unit may be within a predetermined range of fair quality.
본 발명에 따른 차량용 후드 스트라이커의 제작 방법은 블랭킹, 다단 벤딩, 재스트라이킹, 및 피어싱 등을 포함하는 순차적인 프로그레시브 프레스 공정을 통해 스트라이커를 준비하는 단계; 상기 스트라이커에 결합하는 후드 래치를 다단의 벤딩 공정을 통해 준비하는 단계; 및 상기 스트라이커와 후드 래치에 대한 열간 업셋 용접 작업을 실시하는 단계;를 포함하고, 상기 열간 업셋 용접 작업은, 전류, 용접 시간, 가압력을 포함하는 변수들을 제어함으로써 열영향부를 기설정된 양품 범위 내에 들게 한다.
