The present invention relates to an additive for improving a PG grade of low-carbon mid-temperature asphalt and an asphalt binder composition using the same, which are capable of improving a performance grade (PG) of an asphalt binder. The additive of the present invention is composed by mixing 30-50 wt% of wax, 20-30 wt% of high-density polyethylene (PE), 10-20 wt% of paraffin oil, 10-20 wt% of petroleum resin, 5-20 wt% of latex, and 1-10 wt% of sulfur.
본 발명은 저탄소 중온 아스팔트의 PG 등급을 향상시키는 첨가제 및 이를 이용한 아스팔트 바인더 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 아스팔트 바인더의 PG(Performance Grade) 등급을 향상시키기 위한 것이다. 이를 실현하기 위한 본 발명의 첨가제는, 왁스 30~50중량%, 고밀도 폴리에틸렌(PE) 20~30중량%, 파라핀계 오일 10~20중량%, 석유수지 10~20중량%, 라텍스 5~20중량%, 황 1~10중량%의 혼합 조성을 이루는 것을 특징으로 한다.
