According to the present invention, a watertight structure of a sink comprises: a drain container having a structure with a stopping edge portion on an upper end thereof to be inserted downwards from above a bucket to allow the stopping edge portion to be stopped and supported on an upper surface of the bucket; a fixing ring coupled to the drain container from below the bucket to fix the drain container on the bucket; and a watertight means arranged between the stopping edge portion of the drain container and the bucket to maintain watertightness between the stopping edge portion and the bucket. The watertight means is made of an elastic soft material, and includes a packing tube having a hollow space therein on a cross section and forming a closed curve of a ring shape on appearance. The watertight means is made of an elastic soft material, and may include a packing tube having a hollow space therein on a cross section and including a plurality of inner protrusion lines formed continuously in a longitudinal direction on an inner circumferential surface thereof. According to the watertight structure of a sink, a packing tube flexibly compressed to be curved by material and shape properties is applied as the watertight means to improve a watertight function.
본 발명에 따른 싱크대의 수밀구조는, 상단에 걸림테두리부가 구비된 구조로서 버켓의 위에서 아래로 끼워져서 상기 걸림테두리부가 버켓의 상면에 걸리어 지지되는 배수통과, 버켓의 아래에서 상기 배수통과 결합되어 배수통이 버켓과 고정되도록 하는 고정링과, 상기 배수통의 걸림테두리부와 버켓 사이에 개재되어 상기 걸림테두리부와 버켓 사이의 수밀을 유지하는 수밀수단을 포함하여 이루어진다. 상기 수밀수단은 탄력성있는 연질소재로서, 횡단면상 내부에 중공을 가지며 외형상 링형태의 폐곡선을 이루는 패킹튜브로 구성된다. 상기 수밀수단은 탄력성있는 연질소재로서 횡단면상 내부에 중공을 가지며, 내주면에 길이 방향으로 이어지는 다수개의 내부돌기라인이 형성된 내부돌기형 패킹튜브로 이루어질 수 있다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 싱크대의 수밀구조에 의하면 수밀수단으로서, 소재 및 형태 특성상 유연하게 압착되어 굴곡되는 패킹튜브가 적용됨으로써 수밀 기능이 향상된다는 이점이 있다.
