Smart window using solar cell
Disclosed is a smart window using a solar cell to control penetration and blocking of incident light without using external power. According to the present invention, the smart window comprises: a frame formed in a planar shape and having a penetrated central part to be opened; a solar cell installed on the front, rear, and inner circumferential surfaces of the frame to convert incident light into electric energy; a luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) layer inserted into the central part of the frame to be closely attached to the solar cell installed on the inner circumferential surface of the frame and changing the path of the incident light toward the solar cell installed on the inner circumferential surface of the frame; and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) layer inserted into the central part of the frame to be disposed on the rear surface of the LSC layer, blocking the incident light when the electric energy is not applied, and passing the incident light when the electric energy is applied.
본 발명은 태양전지를 이용한 스마트 윈도우이 개시된다. 본 발명의 스마트 윈도우는 판상으로 형성되고, 중앙이 관통되어 개방되는 프레임, 프레임의 전면, 후면 및 내주면에 설치되어 입사광을 전기에너지로 변환하는 태양전지, 프레임의 중앙에 삽입되어 프레임의 내주면에 설치된 태양전지에 밀착되고, 입사광의 경로를 상기 프레임의 내주면에 설치된 태양전지 방향으로 변경하는 LSC(Luminescent Solar Concentrator)층 및 LSC층의 후면에 배치되도록 프레임의 중앙에 삽입되고, 전기에너지가 미인가되면 입사광을 차단하고, 전기에너지가 인가되면 입사광을 투과시키는 고분자 분산형 액정(polymer dispersed liquid crystal, PDLC)층을 포함한다.
