A method for constructing a vertical structure through stepwise excavation repeats a series of the following steps of: excavating the ground to form a first row working space; attaching a panel to an inner surface of the first row working space; excavating a bottom surface of the first row working space to form a second row working space; and attaching the panel to an inner surface of the second working space. Accordingly, the vertical structure is installed downwards from the ground.

단계적 굴착을 통한 수직구 구조물 시공 방법은, 지표를 굴착하여 제 1 열 작업 공간을 형성하는 단계, 제 1 열 작업 공간의 내측면에 패널을 부착하는 단계, 제 1 열 작업 공간의 저면을 굴착하여 제 2 열 작업 공간을 형성하는 단계, 및 제 2 열 작업 공간의 내측면에 패널을 부착하는 단계를 포함하는 일련의 단계를 반복하여, 지표로부터 하방으로 수직구 구조물을 설치한다.
