The present invention relates to an asphalt reinforcing material, which comprises: a plurality of radial strips (1) which are arranged in parallel in a radial direction at an interval, and in which a reinforcing fiber (4) is reinforced in a polymer resin (5); a plurality of upward strips (2) which are arranged in parallel in an upward direction at an interval, and in which the reinforcing fiber (4) is reinforced in the polymer resin (5); and felt (3) which is attached to the plurality of radial strips (1) and the plurality of upward strips (2) at a lower side of the plurality of radial strips (1) and the plurality of upward strips (2). Moreover, the total cross-sectional area of the reinforcing fiber constituting the radial strips amounts to 20-80% of the total cross-sectional area of the radial strips. The total cross-sectional area of the reinforcing fiber constituting the upward strips amounts to 20-80% of the total cross-sectional area of the upward strips. Moreover, the plurality of radial strips (1) and the plurality of upward strips (2) are attached while intersecting with each other at an intersection contact point. The intersection contact point comprises: an intersection contact point (a) in which the radial strips (1) are located over the upward strips (2); and an intersection contact point (b) in which the upward strips (2) are located over the radial strips (1).
