According to the present invention, a sterilizing apparatus for a toilet bowl to sterilize a toilet bowl including a water tank filled with a prescribed amount of water, a main body to use water in the water tank to drain waste, and a cover rotatably coupled to an upper portion of the main body comprises: a UV sterilizing apparatus which is coupled to the cover, and sterilizes the main body by emitting UV with a sterilizing function to the same according to the rotation of the cover; and a control unit to determine the rotation of the cover to operate the UV sterilizing apparatus when the cover is closed. Since the sterilizing apparatus can be attached to and detached from the cover of a toilet bowl, the sterilizing apparatus can be installed without the remarkable structure change of an existing toilet bowl, thereby facilitating installation. The UV sterilizing apparatus is selectively operated through a sensor unit to be linked to use of the toilet bowl, thereby enabling cost-efficient and efficient sterilization through the reduction of unnecessary power consumption.
본 발명은 일정량의 물이 충진되는 수조와, 수조 내의 물을 이용하여 오물을 배수시키는 본체와, 본체의 상부에 회동가능하게 결합되는 커버를 포함하는 양변기를 살균하기 위한 양변기용 살균장치로서, 커버에 결합되고, 커버의 회동에 따라 살균기능을 갖는 UV가 조사되어 본체를 살균하는 UV살균장치와, 커버의 회동을 판단하여, 커버가 닫히는 경우 UV살균장치를 작동시키는 제어부를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 양변기용 살균장치를 제공한다. 상기한 바에 따르면 변기의 커버에 탈부착할 수 있도록 구성되어 있기 때문에 기존의 양변기의 구조를 크게 변경하지 않고 설치할 수 있어 설치가 용이하고, 양변기 사용과 연계하도록 센서부를 통하여 UV살균장치를 선택적으로 작동하게 함으로써 불필요한 전력낭비를 줄일 수 있어 경제적이고 효율적인 살균이 가능하다.
