Provided is an apparatus for opening and closing a moon pool. The apparatus for opening and closing a moon pool includes: first and second platforms arranged on the moon pool; first and second driving parts respectively moving the first platform and the second platform to open or close the moon pool; and a locking part fixing a coupling state of the first platform and the second platform when the first platform and the second platform approach each other so that the moon pool is closed.
