Disclosed is a canopy for a parking lot, which comprises: foundation concrete installed on the ground; a plurality of columns coupled to the foundation concrete; a canopy body installed to be extended from a middle portion of the columns to one side of the columns; a reinforcing bracket wherein one side thereof is fixed on the columns and another side thereof is fixed on the canopy body to fix and reinforce the columns and the canopy body; and a tension member to connect upper portions of the columns and the canopy body to be affected by tensile force. A lateral frame or an intermediate bar frame, columns, etc. making up the canopy are preferably provided with a bolt hole or the like required for assembly in standardized products. An auxiliary canopy coupled to be rotated by a hinge is further installed on a free end of the canopy body on the opposite side of the columns to be operated by varying the installation angle in accordance with the surrounding environment or vehicle data. According to the present invention, vehicle parking is convenient since a front column is not present, and the risk of accidents is reduced. Standardized commercialization is facilitated to reduce the costs, effort, and time of canopy installation. According to one aspect, the auxiliary canopy is installed on the vehicle entry side of the canopy and the angle of the auxiliary canopy is adjusted to properly play the role of a canopy in accordance with the surrounding condition or weather and parked vehicles.
