The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for collecting impurities in a manhole of a sewage pipeline and, more specifically, to an apparatus for collecting impurities in a manhole of a sewage pipeline, which is provided in an inner space of the manhole installed on the sewage pipeline to deposit and remove the impurities included in sewage by each particle size. The apparatus for collecting impurities in the manhole of the sewage pipeline includes: a first trap of which one side at the back is connected to the end of a sewage inflow pipe, into which the sewage is introduced, and which discharges the sewage to the inner space of the outside manhole while the middle and large impurities are filtered through a first mesh; and a second trap of which one side at the front is connected to an inlet of a sewage outflow pipe, into which the sewage in the inner space of the manhole is introduced while the small impurities are filtered through a second mesh, and to which the sewage is discharged through the sewage outflow pipe.
