The present invention provides an automatic mold lifting apparatus and an automatic mold lifting method, which can reliably support a large mold to prevent a fall, thereby improving safety and stably guiding the mold during lifting. The automatic mold lifting apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention includes corner steel plates spaced apart from each other, guide rails fixedly installed on the corner steel plates, fixing members for fixing the guide rails to the corner steel plates, a mold installed to be movable along the guide rails, and guide members installed on the mold and having rollers rotating in contact with the guide rails.
