The present invention relates to a safety door lock having a handle automatically hidden, which comprises: an input unit (110) for receiving a password and a fingerprint inputted and recognizing a card; a sensor unit (120) for sensing movement of a visitor approaching the door lock to generate a sensing signal; a camera unit (130) for receiving the sensing signal transmitted by the sensor unit (120) to take an image of the visitor; a storage unit (150) for storing input information received from the input unit (110), image information received from the camera unit (130), and face information received from a face recognition unit (140); a control unit (160) for controlling closing/opening of a door, image taking and alarm sounding based on the information received from the storage unit (150); a door opening/closing unit (170) for setting locking and unlocking of a door; a handle (190) hidden into the inside of a door when the door is set in a locking state and popping out to the outside of the door when the door is unlocked; a gear unit (180) engaged with the door opening/closing unit (170) to be rotated by operation of the door opening/closing unit (170) to drive the handle (190); and a communication unit (210) for performing wireless communication.
