One aspect of the present invention provides a method for producing a zirconia sintered body, including the steps of: (a) molding a mixture including zirconia and yttria; (b) heat-treating the product of step (a); (c) processing the product of step (b) into a predetermined shape; (d) raising the temperature of the product of step (c) at a rate of 30 to 200 deg. C/min and sintering the product at a temperature of 1,300 to 1,600 deg. C for 1 to 120 minutes; and (e) cooling the product of step (d) while controlling a cooling rate.
