According to the present invention, a stopping mechanism for a manhole grating is mounted on a grating (2) covering a sewer formed on the ground (1) to allow rain or the like to enter and protect a pedestrian or a vehicle from falling to prevent foreign substances from entering to prevent blockage and comprises: a blocking unit (10) having a plurality of blocking blocks (12) with through holes (11) to be inserted into spaces (4) formed through blocking bars (3) of the grating (2) to allow rain or the like to enter and prevent foreign substances from entering; a fixing means (20) provided to fix the plurality of blocking blocks (12) of the blocking unit (10) on the blocking bars (3) of the grating (2); a support unit (30) supporting the blocking blocks (12) by mounting the blocking blocks (12) thereon underneath the blocking unit (10), and having inlet holes (31) to allow rain or the like to enter; and an adjusting means (40) fixing the blocking blocks (12) on the support unit (30) to prevent detachment, and moving and adjusting the blocking blocks (12) to the position of the spaces (4) formed through the blocking bars (3) of the grating (2). Accordingly, the present invention blocks the spaces through the blocking bars formed on the grating to allow liquid such as rain to easily enter and prevent foreign substances from entering. Since the areas of the spaces through the blocking bars are not the same, the positions of the blocking blocks can be adjusted and the blocking blocks can be used with close fixing power. The present invention can be used without removing an existing grating.

본 발명은 지면(1)에 형성된 하수구를 덮어 비 등의 유입이 가능하면서 보행자 또는 차량 등이 빠지지 않도록 보호하는 그레이팅(2) 상에 장착되어 이물질의 유입을 방지하여 막히는 것을 차단하는 맨홀 그레이팅용 걸림기구에 있어서: 상기 그레이팅(2)의 차단바(3)를 통해 형성되는 공간(4) 상에 삽설하여 비 등의 유입이 가능하면서 이물질의 유입을 방지하게 통공(11)을 갖는 다수개의 차단블록(12)을 구비하는 차단부(10); 상기 차단부(10)의 다수의 차단블록(12)이 그레이팅(2)의 차단바(3) 상에 고정이 가능하게 구비하는 고정수단(20); 상기 차단부(10)의 하부에 차단블록(12)이 안착되어 지지하고, 비 등의 유입이 가능하게 유입공(31)을 구비하는 지지부(30); 및 상기 지지부(30) 상에 차단블록(12)을 고정하여 이탈을 방지하면서 그레이팅(2)의 차단바(3)를 통해 형성되는 공간(4)의 위치에 맞게 이동시켜 조절하는 조절수단(40);을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라 본 발명은, 그레이팅 상에 형성되는 차단바를 통한 공간을 막아 비 등의 액체의 유입이 용이하면서 이물질의 유입을 방지하고, 차단바를 통한 공간의 넓이가 동일하지 않아 차단블록의 위치를 조절 가능하면서 면밀한 고정력으로 사용이 가능하며, 기존의 그레이팅을 제거하지 않고도 사용이 가능한 효과를 제공한다.
