The present invention relates to a fabric for an insect screen, which is manufactured by weaving a sheath core-type synthetic fiber yarn, which comprises a sheath made of low-melting polyester containing ZnO, TiO_2, and an antistatic agent, and a core made of general polyester containing carbon black and TiO_2, and fusing the woven fabric. According to the present invention, while solving problems of a coating method, such as a decrease in durability and an imbalance in mesh shapes, functional particles are uniformly distributed on the surface of the synthetic fiber yarn which is a material of an insect screen, thereby increasing functional expression of antibacterial, UV-blocking, antistatic, and the like, and solving problems of trimming, poor heat-sealing, and lowering of fastness to sunlight.
본 발명은 ZnO, TiO2 및 대전방지제를 함유한 저융점 폴리에스터로 이루어진 쉬스부와 카본블랙 및 TiO2를 함유한 일반 폴리에스터로 이루어진 코어부를 가지는 쉬스코어형합섬섬유사로 제직하고 열융착한 방충망용 원단에 관한 것으로서 본 발명에 의하면 코팅방법의 문제점인 내구성저하 및 매쉬모양의 불균형을 해결하는 한편, 방충망원단의 재료가 되는 합성섬유사의 표면에 기능성입자를 균일하게 분포시켜 항균, 자외선차단, 대전방지등의 기능성발현을 향상시키고 사절, 열융착불량 및 일광견뢰도저하의 문제점을 해결한 방충망용원단을 제공할 수 있다.
