CALCINED FERRITE AND SINTERED FERRITE MAGNET AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
The present invention relates to sintered ferrite magnet having the composition of metallic elements of Ca, R, A, Fe and Co represented by the general formula: Ca_(1-x-y)R_xA_yFe_(2n-z)Co_z where R is at least one element among rare earth elements necessarily including La, A is Sr and/or Ba, x, y, z and n represent the atomic ratio of Ca, R, A, Fe and Co, 2n is a molar ratio represented by 2n = (Fe+Co)/(Ca+R+A), and x, y, z, n satisfy the conditions that 0.15 <= x <= 0.35, 0.05 <= y <= 0.40, (1-x-y) > y, 0 < z <= 0.18 and 7.5 <= (2n-z) < 11.0. Therefore, provided are a sintered ferrite magnet, a manufacturing method thereof and calcined ferrite capable of obtaining a sintered ferrite magnet wherein the sintered ferrite magnet has equal or superior magnetic properties while having the content of CO reduced.
