VEHICLE DOOR SAFETY SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
Disclosed are a vehicle door safety system and a control method thereof. The vehicle door safety system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a door sensor which detects an open and closed state of a door connected with a vehicle body by a hinge unit; an object detection sensor which is operated in the open state of the door and detects an object existing in a boundary area of the door; an electronic reducer which is installed on the hinge unit of the door; and a controller which operates the reducer to reduce a closing speed of the door when the object is detected in the boundary area of the door in the open state of the door. The vehicle door safety system reduces the closing speed of the door by detecting a part of a passenger's body in an outside area of the door.
차량의 도어 안전 시스템 및 그 제어 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 차량의 도어 안전 시스템은, 차체와 힌지부로 연결된 도어의 열림 및 닫힘 상태를 감지하는 도어센서, 상기 도어의 열림 상태에서 작동되어 도어의 경계영역에 존재하는 물체를 감지하는 물체감지센서, 상기 도어의 힌지부에 설치되는 전자식 감속기 및 상기 도어의 열림 상태에서 상기 도어의 경계영역에 물체가 감지된 경우 상기 감속기를 작동하여 도어의 닫힘 속도를 줄이는 제어기를 포함한다.

Disclosed are a vehicle door safety system and a control method thereof. The vehicle door safety system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a door sensor which detects an open and closed state of a door connected with a vehicle body by a hinge unit; an object detection sensor which is operated in the open state of the door and detects an object existing in a boundary area of the door; an electronic reducer which is installed on the hinge unit of the door; and a controller which operates the reducer to reduce a closing speed of the door when the object is detected in the boundary area of the door in the open state of the door.
