CALCINED FERRITE AND SINTERED FERRITE MAGNET AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
Provided is a ferrite sintered magnet having high Br and H_(cJ) and reduced in a Co use amount compared with conventional SrLaCo magnets or CaLaCo magnets. The sintered ferrite magnet having a composition of metallic elements of Ca, R, A, Fe, and Co represented by the general formula Ca_(1-x-y) R_(x)A_(y) Fe_(2n-z)Co_(z) (where R is at least one rare earth element containing La essentially; A is Sr and/or Ba; x, y, z, and n represent the atomic ratios of Ca, R, A, Fe, and Co; 2n is a molar ratio expressed as 2n=(Fe+Co)/(Ca+R+A); and x, y, z, and n satisfy the conditions of 0.15<=x<=0.35, 0.05<=y<=0.40, (1-x-y)>y, 0<=(2n-z)<11.0).
