The present invention relates to a smart toilet for people with dementia, which leads a person with dementia to a toilet by outputting a predetermined sound when a preset defecation or urination time is reached, causes the person with dementia to be interested in a toilet seat through an LED light embedded in the toilet seat, and outputs guide messages according to defecation or urination procedures, while having a conversation using artificial intelligence with the person with dementia so that the person with dementia can concentrate on a defecation or urination action during defecation or urination. The smart toilet for people with dementia according to the present invention comprises: a proximity detection sensor unit including a proximity detection sensor and transmitting a proximity detection signal, a signal indicating that a person is close to the toilet, to an operation processing unit; a light emitting unit that includes a plurality of LEDs mounted on the toilet and is driven by a light emitting control signal of the operation processing unit; and the operation processing unit that outputs sounds for notifying that a defecation or urination time comes through a speaker when the defecation or urination time is reached according to preset defecation and urination time schedules, compares whether the proximity detection signal received from the proximity detection sensor unit falls within a preset toilet proximity reference range, and transmits the light emitting control signal to the light emitting unit and outputs a guide message according to start of defecation or urination (start of toilet use) through the speaker, when the proximity detection signal falls within the preset toilet proximity reference range.
본 발명은 기 설정된 배변 또는 배뇨시간이 되면, 소정 음향을 출력하여 치매인을 화장실로 유도하고, 변기 좌석부분에 LED 조명을 내장하여 치매인으로 하여금 변좌에 흥미를 유발하게 하고, 배변 또는 배뇨절차에 따라, 안내 멘트를 출력하되, 배변 또는 배뇨시 치매인이 배변 또는 배뇨활동에 집중을 가지게 하기 위해 치매인과 인공지능을 이용한 대화를 행하게 하도록 이루어진 치매인용 스마트 변기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 치매인용 스마트 변기는, 근접여부 검출 센서를 포함하며, 변기에 사람이 근접함을 나타내는 신호인 근접여부 검출신호를 검출하여 연산처리부로 전송하는, 근접여부 검출 센서부; 변기에 장착한 다수의 발광다이오드(LED)를 포함하며, 연산처리부의 발광제어신호에 의해 구동되는 발광부; 기 설정된 배변 및 배뇨의 시간 스케쥴에 따라 배변 또는 배뇨의 시간이 도래하면 배변 및 배뇨의 시간이 되었음을 알리는 음향을 스피커를 통해 출력하고, 근접여부 검출 센서부로부터 수신된 근접여부 검출 신호가 기설정된 변기 근접 기준범위 내에 해당하는 지 비교하고, 만약 근접여부 검출 신호가 기설정된 변기 근접 기준범위 내에 해당하면, 발광부로 발광제어신호를 전송하고, 배변 또는 배뇨의 시작(변기사용 시작)에 따른 안내멘트를 스피커부로 출력하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
