The present invention relates to a shade ball for reducing evaporation of water in a reservoir. More specifically, the present invention relates to a ball floating on the water surface of a running water storage facility such as a reservoir to reduce the evaporation of water accommodated in the running water storage facility. The shade ball for reducing evaporation of water in a reservoir can reduce the amount of evaporation of water compared to a normal black spherical ball, have excellent buoyancy and strength, and increase the convenience of installation and collection.
