Disclosed is a hanger type block ladder, which comprises: a pair of ladder frames formed as a straight pipe, and arranged in parallel with each other; a clamping means formed at an upper end of the ladder frames, and fixedly coupled to an upper end of a structure at a shipbuilding or construction site to install the ladder frames in an obliquely suspended form at the upper end of the structure; a plurality of scaffolding units installed at a predetermined height on the ladder frames to enable a worker to step on the structure to perform a work therefor; and a support frame installed horizontally from a lower end of the ladder frames in a front direction toward the structure, and being in close contact with the structure to support the ladder frames to be maintained in an oblique state. Therefore, costs for a high place work can be significantly reduced.
