The dielectric composition for a multilayer ceramic capacitor of the present invention includes a barium-based compound, gadolinium oxide (Gd_2O_3), manganese oxide (Mn_3O_4), and magnesium carbonate (MgCO_3). Therefore, the dielectric composition for a multilayer ceramic capacitor can exhibit excellent reliability as well as excellent performance.
