METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIGHTWEIGHT POROUS MATERIAL PARTICLES
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing lightweight porous material particles from silicon-aluminum raw materials or waste, and more particularly, to a method for manufacturing lightweight porous material particles having a wide particle size distribution. The method for manufacturing lightweight porous material particles according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (1) providing silicon-aluminum raw material particles; (2) providing a slurry mixture comprising silica-aluminum raw material particles, a viscosity modifier, a reactive mineralizer and water; (3) drying the slurry mixture to form a mineral base material; (4) crushing the mineral base material to form mineral base particles, screening the mineral base particles, and retaining particles having a particle size of 150 μm or more to obtain first particles; and (5) mixing the first particles with an anti-adhesion agent, followed by sintering and expanding the same to form second particles of lightweight porous material particles.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing lightweight porous material particles from silicon-aluminum raw materials or waste, and more particularly, to a method for manufacturing lightweight porous material particles having a wide particle size distribution.
