Method for Preparing Zirconium Diboride Particles with High Purity and Water Dispersibility
In the present disclosure, disclosed is a method for producing zirconium boride particles that can exhibit improved purity and water dispersibility by increasing the affinity of the particles for an aqueous medium or hydrophilic solvent without using a separate dispersant through acid treatment on the surface of the zirconium boride particles. The method for producing zirconium boride particles that can exhibit purity and water dispersibility includes the steps of: a) providing zirconium boride particles as a non-oxidizing refractory material; b) surface-treating the zirconium boride particles by using an acid solution adjusted to a predetermined concentration range; and c) recovering the surface-treated zirconium boride particles.
본 개시 내용에서는 붕화 지르코늄 입자의 표면에 산 처리를 통하여 별도의 분산제 사용 없이 입자 자체의 수계 매질 또는 친수성 용매에 대한 친화도를 증가시켜 개선된 순도 및 수분산성을 나타낼 수 있는 붕화 지르코늄 입자의 제조방법이 기재된다.
