The present invention relates to a dishwasher, comprising: a main body having a washing space formed therein and an opening part formed on a front surface to communicate with the washing space; a door provided to cover the opening part; a door hinge to which the door is coupled and rotatable about an hinge axis to the main body so that the door can open and close the opening part; a door cover provided to cover the front surface of the door; and a transmission unit that converts the rotational motion of the door into linear motion and transmits the same to the door cover so that the opening is opened when the door is rotated and opened about the hinge axis and so that the door cover moves straight upward of the door. According to the present invention, when the door is opened, the door cover can be moved away from a baseboard, thereby preventing the door cover and the baseboard from interfering with each other.
본 발명은, 식기 세척기에 관한 것으로서, 내부에 형성되는 세척 공간과, 상기 세척 공간과 연통되도록 전면에 개방 형성되는 개구부를 구비하는 메인 바디; 상기 개구부를 커버 가능하게 마련되는 도어; 상기 도어가 결합되며, 상기 도어가 상기 개구부를 개폐할 수 있도록, 상기 메인 바디에 힌지 축을 중심으로 회전 가능하게 힌지 결합되는 도어 힌지; 상기 도어의 전면을 커버 가능하게 마련되는 도어 커버; 및 상기 개구부가 개방되도록 상기 도어가 상기 힌지 축을 중심으로 회전되면서 열릴 때, 상기 도어 커버가 상기 도어의 상방으로 직선 이동하도록, 상기 도어의 회전 운동을 직선 운동으로 전환하여 상기 도어 커버에 전달하는 전달 유닛을 포함한다. 이러한 본 발명에 의하면, 도어를 열 때 도어 커버가 걸레받이로부터 멀어지는 방향으로 이동될 수 있는 바, 이를 통해 도어 커버와 걸레받이가 서로 간섭되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
