Crosswalk of hump type for protection of overspeed and construction method of the same
The present invention provides a hump-type overspeed prevention crosswalk, which has a gentle sloped section that only one wheel of a vehicle can pass through on an uphill section of the crosswalk to reduce impact applied to the vehicle, thereby preventing vehicle damage and discomfort to a driver. In a suitable embodiment of the present invention, the hump-type overspeed prevention crosswalk comprises: an upward incline part having an incline section provided on one side of the center line so that a vehicle ascends with a predetermined upward slope; a pedestrian crossing part extending from the upward incline part to a predetermined section and formed at the same height as a sidewalk; and a downward decline part having a decline section extending from the pedestrian crossing part so that the vehicle descends with a predetermined downward slope, wherein the incline section has a shock-absorbing gentle slope, which has the degree of slope relatively smaller than that of the upward slope to mitigate the impact applied to the vehicle. The shock-absorbing gentle slope has a constant width through which only one wheel of the vehicle can safely pass.
본 발명은 횡단보도의 오르막 구간에서 차량의 한 쪽 바퀴만 지나갈 수 있는 완만한 경사구간을 갖도록 함으로써 차량에 가해지는 충격을 저감시켜 차량 손상 및 운전자의 불쾌감을 방지할 수 있도록 한 험프식 과속방지겸용 횡단보도를 제공한다. 본 발명의 적절한 실시 형태에 따른 험프식 과속방지겸용 횡단보도는, 중앙선 기준으로 어느 한쪽의 오르막 차선측에는 일정한 상향 경사도에 의해 차량이 올라가는 오르막구간을 갖는 상향오르막부, 상향오르막부에서 일정 구간 연장되어 인도와 같은 높이로 형성된 보행자 횡단부, 보행자 횡단부에서 연장되어 일정한 하향 경사도에 의해 차량이 내려가는 내리막구간을 갖는 하향내리막부를 갖되; 상기 오르막구간에는 상향 경사도보다 상대적으로 작은 완만 경사도를 가져 차량에 가해지는 충격을 완화시켜 주는 충격방지용 완만경사부가 구비되고, 충격방지용 완만경사부는 차량의 한쪽 바퀴만 안전하게 통과할 수 있는 일정한 안전폭을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
