    The present invention relates to a zirconia-alumina-based ceramic composite having high strength, high hardness, and high toughness, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the properties of high strength, fracture toughness, and hardness can be improved by mixing yttria-stabilized zirconia and alumina particles and controlling a cooling rate after sintering.

    본 발명은 고강도, 고경도, 고인성 지르코니아-알루미나계 세라믹 복합소재 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 이트리아 안정화 지르코니아와 알루미나 입자를 혼합하여 소결 후 냉각속도를 제어함으로써 고강도, 파괴인성 및 경도의 특성을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있다.
