    A fire spread retardant insulation and a manufacturing method therefor are disclosed. The fire spread retardant insulation comprises an insulation panel composed of two or more small unit insulation panels stacked and attached; and a fire extinguishing capsule disposed between the small unit panels and embedded in the insulation panels.
