HIGH BASICITY MOLD FLUX FOR MEDIUM CARBON STEEL
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a mold flux may be a mold flux that contains, in wt%, 40.0 to 55.0% of CaO, 20.0 to 35.0% of SiO_2, 8.0 to 12.0% of F, 4.0 to 8.0% of Na_2O, 1.0 to 2.0% of Al_2O_3, 2.0% or less of MgO, and 4.0 to 8.0% of C, and further includes B_2O_3 and Li_2O and includes the remaining inevitable impurities, wherein a value expressed by the following formula (1) is 0.25 to 3.00. The formula (1) is B_2O_3/Li_2O (in the formula (1) above, B_2O_3 and Li_2O represent wt% of each oxide). A purpose is to provide the high basicity mold flux for medium carbon steel that not only obtains a high crystallinity to suppress heat transfer within the mold, but also secures lubrication for uniform heat transfer within the mold and has a low rate of crack occurrence in a cast slab.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 몰드 플럭스는, 중량%로, CaO: 40.0 ~ 55.0%, SiO2: 20.0 ~ 35.0%, F: 8.0 ~ 12.0%, Na2O: 4.0 ~ 8.0%, Al2O3: 1.0 ~ 2.0%, MgO: 2.0%이하 및 C: 4.0 ~ 8.0%를 포함하고, B2O3 및 Li2O를 더 포함하고 나머지 불가피한 불순물을 포함하면서, 아래 식(1)로 표현되는 값이 0.25 ~ 3.00인, 몰드 플럭스 일 수 있다. 식(1): B2O3 / Li2O (상기 식 (1)에서, B2O3, Li2O는 각 산화물의 중량%를 의미한다). 몰드 내 열전달을 억제하기 위한 고염기도의 높은 결정률을 얻을 뿐만 아니라, 몰드 내 균일한 열전달을 위해 윤활능을 확보하여 주편 크랙 발생률이 적은 중탄소강용 고염기도 몰드 플럭스를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
