The invention relates to a draining device for a basin (12), in particular in the form of a sink, comprising at least one part (24) allowing fluid to pass through and one part which blocks the flow of the fluid (26), at least one of said parts can be manually moved, by means of an actuation device (30), from one position (05) allowing the fluid to flow between the basin (12) and a discharge pipe (34) of the device to a position blocking the flow of fluid, and vice versa. The invention is characterized is that the actuation device (30) comprises a tensioning device (54), said tensioning device allowing the discharge pipe (34) to be fixed to the basin (12) in a fluid-tight manner.
