Set of floor panels for forming a floor covering, which comprises at least two floor panels (1A-1B), which each comprise an edge (2-3) provided with a coupling part (4-5), wherein the coupling parts (4-5) are configured such that they allow realizing a coupled condition between the floor panels (1A-1B), by means of a substantially straight-lined coupling movement (M) of the one floor panel (1A) in respect to the other floor panel (1B), according to a direction substantially perpendicular to an installation plane; and wherein the coupling parts (4-5) are configured such that they, in the coupled condition, realize a tensioning force pressing the coupled edges (2-3) towards each other.
