The invention relates to a shower device having a functional element, in particular a shower head, wherein the functional element is connected to a first holding element, which is arranged on a first side of a plate and is held there magnetically, and wherein a second holding element is arranged on the rear side of the plate, and the magnetic force required to hold the functional element is formed between the first holding element and the second holding element, wherein the second holding element is fixed to an adjusting mechanism and is adjustably mounted by means of the adjusting mechanism, wherein the adjusting mechanism is adjustable by means of a controller, such that the position of the functional element can be varied vertically and/or horizontally by means of appropriate adjustment of the second holding element.
