FIELD: personal use articles.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the closing and damping device (1) for movable furniture parts, comprising: an energy storage unit (6), a first end (61) of which is fixed to the box (2, 3), and the said storage unit is stiffened in opening (15) the furniture part, and the energy accumulated in it is used in closing as the accessory means of return to the final closed position; a damper (7); and a deflecting device (5) with the gear wheel (52), a rack bar (51) engaged with the gear wheel (52) and the holder (53) which is attached to the gear wheel (52) without the ability of rotation and is made with the ability of attaching to it of a second end (62) of the energy storage unit (6). The deflecting device (5) has a curved surface of winding, which in opening or closing changes the distance between the point (521) of rotation of the gear wheel (52) and the attachment point of the energy storage unit (6).EFFECT: improvement of the design.9 cl, 20 dwg
