В способе строительства плоскостного сооружения, включающем формирование слоя сыпучего материала путем его укладки, распределения, выравнивания и уплотнения на материнском основании и последующее размещения мата из искусственного травяного газона на сформированном слое, на последнем, перед размещением мата, устанавливают пластину, образованную из связанных между собой системных решеток, которую, затем, на всю высоту решеток погружают в слой методом вибротрамбования.
