FIELD: earthmoving equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to earthmoving machines with earthmoving equipment, in particular to crowns of an excavation tool. A crown assembly for an edge of a base of earthmoving equipment includes an adapter adapted for attachment to the edge of the base of earthmoving equipment, and a forward-protruding adapter head. The crown of the excavation tool contains: a rear edge, an upper outer surface, a lower outer surface, while the upper outer surface and the lower outer surface protrude forward from the rear edge of the crown of the excavation tool and converge with each other at a front edge of the crown, and a cavity of the head in the crown of the excavation tool. The cavity of the head is made between converging upper and lower outer surfaces for receiving the adapter head, and at the front end of the cavity of the head, a wear indicator is made passing from the inner surface of the cavity of the head into the crown of the excavation tool towards the lower outer surface of the crown of the excavation tool. The cavity of the head has lower and front inner surfaces, as well as the first and the second lateral inner surfaces that are opposite to the first and the second lateral outer surfaces of the crown, and the wear indicator is located at the intersection of lower and front inner surfaces and centered between a pair of lateral surfaces of the cavity of the head.EFFECT: ensuring the protection of adapter parts from wear or damage.9 cl, 20 dwg
