The climbing system may further include a battery for providing electric supply for the motor. The at least one step may include a rung of a ladder. The at least one step may include a board of a scaffold. The climbing system may further include a motor box housing the electric motor, wherein the motor box may be configured to operatively connect to and disconnect from the at least one step.
