The present invention proposes a roller for asphalt compaction, in particular a wheel roller before, comprising - a rubber wheel, - a spray device for spraying the rubber wheel with a composite of a first liquid and a second liquid release agent mixture, - a first tank for the first liquid and a second tank for the second liquid, characterized in that the wheel roller for forming the release agent mixture has a mixing device for mixing the provided from the first tank first liquid and the second liquid supplied from the second tank. The invention further relates to a method for spraying a rubber wheel of a roll for asphalt compaction with a release agent mixture.
