The treatment room is constructed with materials comprising a plurality of prefabricated, modular radiation shielding blocks. The radiotherapy center may further include a plurality of functional rooms adjacent to the treatment room. The plurality of functional rooms may be constructed from a plurality of prefabricated modules. The plurality of functional rooms may be arranged in a quadrangle configuration, surrounding a central atrium.
