TRIM PIECE FOR DOOR LATCHING ASSEMBLY
A trim surround is installable around a trim plate of a door latching assembly. The trim surround may have a shape complementary to and installable around an outer perimeter of a trim plate. The trim surround can have a front edge and a rear edge, and a retaining mechanism. The trim surround may be ring shaped to be complementary to a round trim plate of the door latching assembly. In some cases, the retaining mechanism can include a flange that extends inwardly of the trim plate such that the flange retains the trim surround in place around the trim plate when the door latching assembly is mounted to a door.
