VEHICULAR DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY WITH PROTRUDING HANDLE PORTION
A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion configured to mount at a door of a vehicle, a handle portion extending from the base portion, and an electronic switch disposed within the handle portion. The handle portion includes (i) a fixed portion that, with the base portion mounted at the door of the vehicle, extends outward at the door of the vehicle, and (ii) a movable portion disposed within the fixed portion. When the handle portion is grasped by a user, the movable portion moves to actuate the electronic switch. With the base portion mounted at the door of the vehicle, and when the electronic switch is actuated, the electronic switch actuates a latching mechanism of the door to unlock, lock and/or open the door.

When the handle portion is grasped by a user, the movable portion moves to actuate the electronic switch. With the base portion mounted at the door of the vehicle, and when the electronic switch is actuated, the electronic switch actuates a latching mechanism of the door to unlock, lock and/or open the door.
