SWING DOOR HANDLE AND ESCUTCHEON
A handle and escutcheon set for a swing door includes an interior handle set and an exterior handle and spindle pre-installed on an escutcheon. The interior handle set comprises an interior escutcheon assembly and a base plate assembly including a base plate, an upper shuttle, a lower shuttle, and a lock gasket. The base plate is first fastened to the door and the exterior handle set and then the interior escutcheon is snapped onto the base plate, thereby securing it in place via resiliently-biased upper and lower shuttles.
